My name is William Cazares and I’m a 36-year-old graphic designer currently based in the south side of Chicago, IL. I love everything that has to do with graphic design, branding, marketing and I especially admire opportunities to think creatively.
The conception of the Connections Virtual Program Guide series came during a time when separation was not only mandated, but necessary. While the pandemic affected us all in many ways, it had a deep impact on SEASPAR’s participants who, among all, thrived in environments with high levels of social interaction. From this need, Connections was born, a program guide that attempted to normalize the not-so-normal, and bring people together in a virtual landscape. Virtual programming was so popular, their demand was still high even after restrictions were lifted.
The Connections Virtual Program Guide was awarded 1st place in the category of Digital Program Guide by IPRA’s Agency Showcase, an annual design competition judged by industry professionals. The series was highly ranked for it’s design work, innovation, and special attentions to layout, which was designed to be consumed best on digital devices.
